Halls Gap Zoo

While in the Grampians region enjoying the wildlife, schedule a visit to Halls Gap Zoo. Have a great time out as you experience close interaction with a variety of animals.  You can see a range of native animals such as koalas, Tasmanian devils, wombats, cockatoos, reptiles and dingoes as well as touch and feed the kangaroos and wallabies. Other animals include monkeys, deer, antelope and camels with new animals arriving all the time.

Halls Gap Zoo is involved in a number of conservation efforts including South Australian mainland sub-species of Tammar Wallaby, Brush-tailed Bettong, Tasmanian devil, Bilby, Bush Stone-Curlew, Quoll and Rock-wallabies.

Other attractions at the zoo include Grampians Art Gallery and “The World of Fossils”.

On-site facilities include a kiosk for snack food and souvenirs, a playground and picnic area with free use of barbecues.
